Don’t let me out of your sight

Getting chicked – when a guy is passed, beaten, overtaken, or in some way bettered by a gal.  Typically overheard in competitive sports like running and cycling, as in “I was chicked 500m from the finish line”.  Perhaps I should be offended by the term, but it is difficult to be righteously indignant as I celebrate my latest chicking.

Happy birthday Roger Hargreaves*.

*Thank you google doodles for this birthday notification.

Great blog–added to my growing blogroll. :)

  3. In the London Marathon, that would be “being rhinoed”
