I am not a 50 year old man.
But I run like one.

Love it or hate it, many marathoners are familiar with this chart – the Boston Marathon Qualifying Standards based on age and gender. The qualifying times for an 18-34 year old woman most closely align with those of the 50-something man. Perhaps not coincidentally, I (an 18-34 year old woman) spend a lot of time chasing and getting chased by 50-year old men. That is, I mean, while running I spend a lot of time chasing and getting chased by 50-year old men. The Boston folk may be on to something.
Hahahah!! I never really looked at it that way before!!
