Stop. Rewind. Erase (from memory).

And now comes the panic.  And vomit.  Panicky vomit.  I just watched a 4.5 minute video ride of the Boston Marathon Course.  Yowzers.   42.2K is far; farther than I remember.  The videographer drove the course and condensed the race into this four minute amphetamine-fast clip.  Set to Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run.  Tramps like us, baby.  After only 2 minutes I was like “is it done yet?”  After 3 minutes I was like “when is this freakin’ race going to end?’.  After 4 minutes I started to sob.  And panicky vomit.  In my overtired, winter weary state I am questioning the wisdom of running the Boston Marathon.  Eventually race excitement will kick in, right?  Right?
